Shooting with this gorgeous magnolia tree felt like winning the lottery! Everyone who came was amazed by the big, beautiful flowers and put us all in the cheerful mood for a spring photoshoot. It was a fairly cloudy day overall, but the energy was light and joyful. Most of my clients this day were doing motherhood shoots, so it was the perfect opportunity to get photos in time for Mother's Day. The little ones were fascinated by all the petals on the ground, so it was easy to keep them smiling and content. Spring seems like a constantly turning wheel of, "Which flower is in bloom now?" and I love using my camera to document that unique calendar. While mommy-and-me was a huge hit for these Magnolia Minis, this is also a perfect setting for seniors, couples, and milestone shoots!
