This beach maternity session in Eastern Connecticut was SO beautiful. We had the glowing mom in an easy, laid-back denim moment - it really suited her, and who doesn’t love denim? The tide was already coming in when we started, so I knew we had to use the rocks while we had them, and everything else just fell into place. The ocean was pretty mild for spring on the east coast, the beach wasn’t too crowded, and the sun was absolutely perfect.
Can you believe that this mom is carrying twins? I scheduled her a bit on the early side in the event that we’d have to move for rain (which we did) and because I didn’t want her to be uncomfortable to pose later in her pregnancy. That final month can be really tough! But, she handled it all like a champ and even brought along her girlfriend and son. Should you do maternity photos if you already had them done for your first? Yes! Because not only is each pregnancy different, but just look how precious it is to add a little one into the shoot. You don’t want to miss that!
