"Hey, I'd love to book! Will there be sun that day?"
This is a question that I've been getting so frequently that I decided to address it in a post. Unfortunately, I have no power over weather, nor a crystal ball that gives me insight. Frankly, if there's anything I've learned in this business, it's that even the 7-day weather forecast isn't quite accurate. The weather is its own force. So whether you're booking months out and asking, "Will there be sun then?" or if you're grabbing a spot in one of my minis and asking, "And of course you planned these on a sunny day, right?" my answer is the same - it's up to Mother Nature!
Regarding the time of day I schedule you - that is definitely strategic on my part. I'm trying to give you the best light possible according to that day's sunset and location! So while we can certainly do our part to aim for best light, it is ultimately up to Mother Nature to decide what kind of day we will have. Which is why we DO move for rain, excessive wind, or other storms. I hope this blog post helps to answer some questions!
